Given the comments we received we spent a couple hours tuning the difficulty and fixing some bugs here
Search the map, discover weapons, beat the boss....death is inevitable
All art, music and code was made in the 48 hours.
Music progress depending on both your and the bosses health
Made for the SA game jam 2021
Submitted in 49.5 hours (minus 2.5 hours for load shedding).
Controls:
WASD - move
Q - switch weapons
E - interact
Space - dodge
Hint (spoiler):
A lot of people are finding this quite hard to finish, so a quick hint, you need the red weapon to damage the red health bar and the blue weapon for the blue health bar, there are 3 rooms to the left, right and directly above the entrance to the boss room, happy searching! (You do respawn with all items you've obtained in previous runs [Q] to switch weapons)
Known bugs: light sometimes doesn't turn on in dark side rooms, just leave and re-enter

Minor bugs aside, this is super well done
Well, idk how to decrease it's red hp, apparently there is another structure to the left of the snake sun thingy but I'm almost sure leaping through the walls is not the way to go.
There's another room to the top with the red HP weapon, it's quite a challenge to get though
